Season Four begins with Dean awakening dazed and confused in a grave, having been rescued by an angel named Castiel on orders from God. Sam has further developed his abilities with the help of Ruby during the four months that Dean has been dead. It is soon revealed that Dean was revived to help stop Lilith's plan of breaking the 66 seals, which would let Lucifer walk free once again. In the season finale Sam kills Lilith, but her murder is the final seal. The angels also wanted the seals to be broken, because when Dean defeats Lucifer, they can usher in paradise on Earth. Ruby reveals she has been manipulating Sam since they first met, and Dean kills her in revenge. With Sam having killed Lilith, and ultimately breaking the final seal, Lucifer is now free. The fifth season pinpoints on Lucifer and the signs of the upcoming Apocalypse.

With Guy Ritchie announced as the director for “Lobo,” it’s only a matter of time before the main man himself gets cast. I’ve already listed some of my suggestions for who should play Lobo, but there’s another actor that’s vying for the role—and despite his former status as a Comedian, his designs on the last Czarnian are hardly a joke.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan of “Watchmen” and “The Losers” wants to add “Lobo” to his ever-growing list of comic book characters. The actor spoke with Superhero Hype about his desire to play the DC Comics antihero in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming adaptation.
“[They're] making ‘Lobo’ right now,” said Morgan. “That would be cool. ‘Lobo’ would be very cool. I don’t think that I’m as big as Lobo is, but if you could, like, transplant Mickey Rourke’s body on my head, that would be just great.”
The actor already has two menacing comic book characters to his name with the morally ambiguous Comedian in “Watchmen” and the highly-trained, vengeance-seeking Clay in “The Losers.” It’s not that Morgan is necessarily seeking out comics properties—it’s more that the genre is currently the place to be for an actor such as Morgan.
“You’re always looking for material that’s kind of smart and fun and this seems to be where it is right now,” he said on the state of the comic book movie boom. “The studios are really gravitating towards it, more than I’ve ever seen them gravitate towards anything in a long time. Comic books are really the thing right now and I don’t see that going away for at least the next couple of years.”
Whether or not fans want Morgan as Lobo, it’s the opinion of the producers that really matters in this case—and luckily for Morgan, Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman are producers on both “Lobo” and “The Losers,” giving the actor a potential leg up on the competition.
“I do have an in,” he said of the link. “I’ll be elbowing somebody soon.”
