Season Four begins with Dean awakening dazed and confused in a grave, having been rescued by an angel named Castiel on orders from God. Sam has further developed his abilities with the help of Ruby during the four months that Dean has been dead. It is soon revealed that Dean was revived to help stop Lilith's plan of breaking the 66 seals, which would let Lucifer walk free once again. In the season finale Sam kills Lilith, but her murder is the final seal. The angels also wanted the seals to be broken, because when Dean defeats Lucifer, they can usher in paradise on Earth. Ruby reveals she has been manipulating Sam since they first met, and Dean kills her in revenge. With Sam having killed Lilith, and ultimately breaking the final seal, Lucifer is now free. The fifth season pinpoints on Lucifer and the signs of the upcoming Apocalypse.

After losing Gabriel (Richard Speight Jr) many feared about Castiel (Misha Collins) too, and someone even started a petition, just in case, so they would not kill him off. Since Supernatural is famous for leaving the Winchester brothers alone and with lot of guilt to deal with many times during 5 years we were scared to come to a moment when we needed to say goodbye to Bobby (Jim Beaver). He became such an important part of the show that we would never think of it without him, and we have no reason to actually because Jim, as Misha, will be in Season 6. So guys, our favourite team will be back soon.

He appeared as recurring on the show, and only was in four episodes. Four episodes on five seasons aren’t that much, are they? Well, it doesn’t count because we – Supernatural fans – loved him as soon as he appeared. We loved him when he was “just” the Trickster, and we loved him when he was revealed to be Gabriel, the Archangel. His bizzarre sense of humor, his grin and his attitude were a part of the show we waited for during every season, and now at season five we had to watch him die, just after he got a storyline of his own. Many of us are still hoping it is just another trick of his, and to make sure of it there is a petition online that we decided to support (we’ve been waiting to make sure no one got spoilered) and hope you’ll do the same. We believe his precence makes Supernatural a better show and we want him back.
Part of the reason for this, let’s admit it, it’s the fact that we were lucky enough to have on the show a talented actor, a brilliant man that knows humility and kindness. We are proud to count Richard Speight Jr in the cast of Supernatural, and many of us, charmed by his personality and ability as actor will still follow his work, but we hope to have him back.
Oh, and if it wasn’t clear enough… Richard: we love you.
Petition: Save Gabriel

On February 7th Jared Padalecki got married to Supernatural co-star Genevieve Cortese, after getting engaged on January 6. The couple dated for more than a year after meeting in 2008 while filming season 4 of the show.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, in Genevieve’s hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho.
Jensen Ackles was one of Jared’s groomsmen, while his brother Jeffry was the best man.
Clif Kosterman, the bodyguard for Jared and Jensen attended the ceremony, as well, and tweeted this sentiment: “It was a beautiful ceremony in a beautiful setting. “
Our best wishes to the newlyweds.

The CW was looking good last night when two of their shows picked up People’s Choice Awards.
Supernatural beat out Heroes, True Blood, Lost and Vampire Diaries to win Best Sci Fi/Fantasy Show!
The Vampire Diaries beat The Good Wife, V, Flash Forward and NCIS: Los Angeles for Best New Drama!
Those are huge wins. Unlike the Emmys or Oscars, The People’s Choice Awards are voted on by the viewing public and that says a lot. It is funny though, that Supernatural beat Vampire Diaries which then went on to beat everyone else!
The only downside, is I hear these awards were not presented in the telecast. I missed the first half hour, so I thought it was my bad luck, but looks like not.
Lastly, if you click through the cut, you’ll find a Twitter message from an actor about his status on Supernatural.

Something felt different about Supernatural at this year’s Comic-Con. Yes, show leads Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) and Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) weren’t there, with Misha Collins (Castiel) and Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) in their place, but that wasn’t it. Sure, creator Eric Kripke, and executive producers Sera Gamble and Ben Edlund were there for the third year in a row delivering enticing teasers for the new season, but that was nothing new either. Neither was the massive line of fans winding outside ready to pack the large 6BCF ballroom. If anything, Supernatural’s popular presence at the con (along with Smallville) warranted a larger room.
No, this year Supernatural established that it’s no longer the show that could. It’s now the show that did. Welcome to the status of established veteran.

On Wednesday, Watch With Kristin broke the news that Paris Hilton would be guest-starring on “Supernatural.”
This season on the show, Sam and Dean Winchester will be facing down the Satan himself and the Apocalypse. Could the arrival of Paris, in Episode 5 of Season 5, be the scariest aspect of “Supernatural’s” End Times?
Headband Actually, as is so often the case on “Supernatural,” the whole thing has a comedic side to it. I got a bit more info from creator/executive producer Eric Kripke and executive producer Sera Gamble regarding the starlet’s appearance on the CW show, which returns Sept. 10.
“If anyone ever wanted to see a bloodthirsty Paris attack and kill somebody, this is your chance,” said Kripke, who added that he was “quite frankly shocked that Paris agreed to do it.”
“We wrote the role just for her,” Gamble said. “We’re very excited that she said yes. She plays the role of a demonic creature that takes the form of… Paris Hilton. If you know our style, you know we go pretty funny and irreverent with this stuff, so–expect that. The fact that she wanted to do the episode speaks volumes about her sense of humor. She’s flat-out awesome for playing along. You’ll see.” [...]

BURBANK, Calif.– Principal photography is under way on Dark Castle Entertainment’s action adventure “The Losers.” The film is based on the comic book series published under DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint, and is being directed by Sylvain White (“Stomp the Yard”).
“The Losers” features an ensemble cast that includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Watchmen”), Zoë Saldana (“Star Trek”), Chris Evans ( Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer ), Idris Elba (“Obsessed,” “RocknRolla”), Columbus Short (“Stomp the Yard,” upcoming “Whiteout”), Holt McCallany (“Vantage Point”), Óscar Jaenada ( Che: Part Two ) and Jason Patric (“In the Valley of Elah”).
An explosive tale of double cross and revenge, “The Losers” centers upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team—Clay (Morgan), Jensen (Evans), Roque (Elba), Pooch (Short) and Cougar (Jaenada)—find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max (Patric). Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they’re joined by the mysterious Aisha (Saldana), a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.
Sylvain White directs “The Losers” from a screenplay by Peter Berg (“Friday Night Lights”) and James Vanderbilt (“Zodiac”), based upon comic books written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Jock. The film is being produced by Joel Silver (“Orphan,” the “Matrix” trilogy) and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman (“A Beautiful Mind,” “I Am Legend”).
The behind-the-scenes creative team includes White’s “Stomp the Yard” director of photography Scott Kevan and editor David Checel, as well as production designer Aaron Osborne (“Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang”), Oscar®-nominated visual effects supervisor Richard Yuricich ( Blade Runner, Mission: Impossible II ) and costume designer Magali Guidasci ( AVP: Alien vs. Predator ).
“The Losers” will shoot entirely on location in Puerto Rico.
The film is scheduled for an April 2010 release and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Misha Collins joyned Comic Con with his usual ironic self and a lot of pain. He was in a nasty bicycle accident going about 55 mph. He just tore some muscles and lost skin, but other than that he’s recovering well. Only his pride is seriously wounded bit hurt since as he said himself during the Comic Con press con, even if he was wearing an helmet “crashing on a bicycle at 55 mph is still stupid, in my opinion”.
We are just glad he is alright. To see for yourself you can go over his twitter account, he even posted a picture of him taken on the embulance.

Sendhil Ramamurthy is not the only guest star known in the fourth season. James Brolin and Jim Beaver are to appear together in the third episode called “High Noon-ish”. The former is taking the role of Sherriff Hank Mendell while the latter is Hank’s employee, Stinky Pete Dilligham. Everyday, whenever tourists show up, Pete guns it out with Sheriff Hank and bites the dust on Main Street.
